Your Birthday...

It's your birthday, and where am I, sitting alone, and starting to cry...
a year gone by ,and things to do, I sit here alone, and think of you.

When you blow upon the candles, will you think of us back then...
will you wonder if you'll live to see, us love together again?
Will your eyes brim with memories, and your heart beat a little fast...
when you remember me with you, on happy birthdays past.

It's your birthday, and where am I, sitting alone, and starting to cry...
a year gone by ,and things to do, I sit here alone, and think of you.

When they give you your presents, will you look to see...
would you be so offended, if there was one there from me.
And tonight when it's late, and air smells so sweet...
when a car drives by slowly, will you think it is me.

Yes, it is your birthday, and I still think of you...
and remember the birthday's, that we shared as two.
Mine came and went, there was no word from you...
but you were always busy, just so much to do.
But each year that comes, I will remember your day...
and send all my love, and wishes your way.
