Love, long distance...

What have I, save words to send, to lighten her sweet heart,
Pleasure have I, when the words return, and we don't feel so apart.

What has she, but my heart, and unknown moments spent,
waiting for her words to speak, of questions I have sent.

And if sometime should happen past, and nothing comes to me,
I will think upon the times we shared, and sit alone and read
her words...

Long distance feelings have touched our hearts, and we may never be the same,
perhaps from that springs friendship or love, for either I will sing,
her praise...

So tell me how you feel my love, and help me still my heart,
for time moves slow, and I can show, you how the feelings start,
with words...

I'll sit and watch the heavens, and search for a certain star,
the one she gave to me one night, in words sent from afar,
It shines...

Between us passed some memories, and words from deeper thoughts,
of times we've shared, and times we cared, and a time we never thought,
came...
