Please do not forget me, for that would break my heart...
if you cannot remember my name, then we're too far apart.
I can see your eyes and lips, forever in my mind...
within my heart your still with me, my memory's not blind.

I will not forget you, I would never even try...
at times I smell your sweet perfume, I feel you at my side.
I hear you footsteps following me, I turn and hope to see...
your smiling face, but your not there, just the wind upon the leaves.

Please do not forget me,  the times we shared were good...
like moments spent out late at night, the walks within the woods.
Please do not forget our moon, at night it helped us see...
and remember as we walked along, it was only you and me.

I will not forget us, though we are far apart...
for books of fondest memories, are etched within my heart.
I will not forget you, nor will my memories fade...
each day I find me reading, my memories page by  page.
