Girl...

Girl you look so lovely, with the moonlight on your hair...
It is no little wonder, that others turn to stare.
When we walk, hand in hand, and you smile that special smile...
I know that if you needed me, I would walk a thousand miles.

What did I do, that caught your eye, and made you love me so...
There are men that walk, upon this Earth, that would give their life to know.
A love like yours, so pure and sweet, is not found just anywhere...
So I thank God, each and every night, that he made sure you were there.

Girl you look so innocent, when you tilt your head just right...
If a face can launch a thousand ships, You command a fleet tonight.
And when you stand and count the stars, your head against my cheek...
You feel so warm and wonderful, I find it hard to speak.

What did I do, to win this love, that changed my life so much...
I bless the day, you came my way, and woke me with your touch.
A love like this, so strong and sure, will live forever more...
And hand in hand, is where we stand, upon life's golden shores.
