How very much...

How very dear, are you to me?...
Without your eyes, I would never see.
Without your love, I'd be alone...
Without your heart, I would have no home.

How very much do I care for you?...
Like the sweetest grass, loves the morning dew.
Like moonlight on two lovers faces...
And sunlight touching secret places

And do I long, when your away?...
Like a dove who's mate, has passed this day.
As flowers long for falling rain...
Like a musical note, in the last refrain.

How very much, do I need your love...
Like every living thing, needs the sun above.
Like trees need wind, to make them dance...
As a horse needs spirit, to make him prance.

How very much, do you mean to me?...
If love were wet, I'd be the sea.
If my love were time, there would be no end...
If my love could travel, it would be the wind.
