Listen...

Listen... can you not hear me watching,
 as you softly sleep?
Are your dreams of things you'd have them be?
Or will they make you weep.

I watch you now, and when you awake,
I listen to your sighs...
I think of all the things in life, and see them in your eyes

You are a vision of beauty, you are my pride and joy..
and in a lifetime long ago, you had to be Helen of Troy.
Poems are made, and words are sung of the type of love you give...
in my heart, and in my soul, forever you shall live
.
And when the day is waning, and you rest here next to me...
I'll think of all the things we've done, and things we've yet to see.

Listen... I'll sing to you, a song of praise...
and pledge my love to you.
I'll give to you my heart so strong, under a sky of blue...
