Search....

Hold not thine heart to tightly,
for without attention, it will wither and die.
Look not at every man as evil, for some are strong and sure.

Search not for that which is perfect,
for that which needs your nourishment, will love thee forever.
A hand fed heart is strongest, should cold clouds start to gather.

I have loved thee for time immortal, and known not whom you were,
I have seen your love upon the world, as life began to stir.

And from afar I’ve watched you, give to those you love,
your strength, your heart, your helping hands, a world inside a hug.

How can a heart like your’s, pretend that no one cares.
For in this world there is someone, that knows the cross you bear.

Pretend that you have found him, and love him from afar,
And when you stand outside at night, wish upon a star,

Know that he is watching, and looking for you to,
for all his sky and universe, was built because of you,

Hold not thine heart to tightly, it needs room to love and grow,
and when the days turn nightly, you'll see the love that glows,
North Star...
