You touched me...

I saw you once so long ago, you touched my heart back then...
Although you didn't know my name, I felt the love begin.
And when we met, that first sweet time, you touched me with your voice...
I heard what I thought, were angels singing, and inside my heart rejoiced.

And when we walked, you touched my hand, my heart would not be still...
And on that day, in a wonderful way, my heart began to fill.
You filled my days with sunshine, and made them seem so grand...
and all the time we were together, I always felt your hand.

And when you'd touched me on the cheek, and stand so close to me...
I'd look into your eyes so green, more happy I could not be.
And when you touched me on my heart, as we stood beneath a sky...
I felt my spirit lifted up, I dreamed that I could fly.

And when you touched your heart to mine, I held you to me tight...
and there we lay, beneath the stars, on a very special night.
And when my eyes were cloudy, from hurt that dwelled within...
I felt you touch me gently, you made me whole again.

I saw you once so long ago, you touched my heart back then...
Although you didn't know my name, I felt the love begin
And if time should betray us, and we each go far away...
I will always remember, how you touched me in your way.
