Treasure... (If)

If happiness were sunshine, I could warm the world today...
If love was made of raindrops, I'd wash your cares away.
And if missing you was honey, I could taste it on my lips...
and share the sweetness, of your return, whenever I kiss your lips.

I've seen the skies grow darker, when they prepare the wind to whirl...
and felt the cold rain pelting, and watched as rivers swirled.
Of wonders I've seen many, and those I treasure most...
are times when you are near to me, and I can hold you close.

So let the storms surround us now, and blow hard as they may...
cause love is made of rain drops, and cares will wash away.

If loving you  were moonbeams, the world would never be dark...
and not even the stars in heaven, could keep us far apart...

So speak to me of treasures, they are memories we hold...
and when the snow it gathers, our hearts will not be cold.

Speak to me, of dreams you have, that make you what you are...
together when you hold my hand, there is no place too far.

If happiness is treasure, I own the world today...
and if love is made of raindrops, a rainbow here will stay.
And If hope lives in flowers, then everywhere I turn...
I'll see hope grow and flourish, and you'll know my love still burns,
for you...
