Us...

Wake up now!, it's time to go, the morning looks so bright
You've been in here, wrapped in my arms, I've held you close all night.
It's time we left, and shared the day, and let all others see
How we can laugh, and love and play, and what you mean to me.

I'll toss your hair, and kiss your lips, and gaze into your eyes
And listen to your sweetest laugh, beneath the wondrous skies.
Your walk has such a life to it, you tilt your head just so
And others stop to look at you, and you never even know.

Walking through the park we go, the things we do and say
Others think were newlyweds, perhaps married just today.
The secret lies within our hearts, we've been this way for years
We simply share all things in life, be it joy, or pain, or tears.

Sitting down to dine with you, I see your smiling face
You touch my hand, and look at me, and time stops in it's place.
You sip your drink, then give a wink, and ask what's on my mind
I take your hand, and say to you, "Just us, till the end of time"
